In episode five, Harry and Mickey get a new piece of lore from Hooper that may or may not (but definitely does) relate to the hiring of new Pistons coach JB Bickerstaff. They discuss the recent pickups and play a game called WHO YOU TALKIN BOUT, REDDIT? to see if they can tell the new guys from the old based on social media posts.

Next, the guys are joined by writer, podcaster, teacher, and brilliant basketball mind Bryce Simon (@MotorCityHoops) who schools them on draft picks, unrestricted free agency, and more. Bryce also judges a game called First Team All Hindsight where Harry and Mickey compete to build the best starting five made up entirely of players the Pistons could have drafted but didn’t. 

GTFO aka Guess The Front Office ft. Conspiracy Carl

In Episode 2, Harry and Mickey discuss Troy Weaver’s departure from the Pistons organization and play a little game called GTFO (Guess The Front Office), where they try to predict who will take on the role of Trajan Langdon’s number two, and whether Monty Williams will stay on as head coach.
Then, they invite the podcast’s first ever guest, a man known only as Conspiracy Carl, to kick around some interesting Pistons theories concerning the draft order, possible connections to the Bad Boys film franchise, and Adam Silver’s affinity for Hot-N-Ready pizzas.

The Hobo Hunt is Complete

In the debut episode, Harry and Mickey explain how they had a vision at the conclusion of the 2023 season of Hooper, the Pistons mascot, who claimed Detroit would return to their former glory and win a championship if, and only if, they podcast until it happens. So here we are.
Together, they discuss the merits of new Pistons President of Basketball Operations Trajan Langdon and propose candidates they personally had zeroed in on.
